SS/AW Spring Dinner 3.18.10






Design, food, art and drink merge into a salon of aesthetic, sensory and communal experience


On March 18, 2010 the first SS/AW Dinner happened in Chinatown, NY. The 7 course meal was enjoyed by 17 guests in an intimate setting with spring flowers, raw unwashed wool, candle light and the new SS/AW collection, Time Capsules.

Leif Sundstrom and guest chef, Garrett Eagleton created a tableau of of 7 courses drawing inspiration from the cusp of winter into spring; raw asparagus in a comforting, bacony broth to a lamb chop held in one hand and a smoldering wool-wrapped sage leaf in the other.

Like the contrast between Spring and Winter, the Time Capsules collection of 7 bags balanced between dark and light, stark lines and organic structure, concept and utility.

The collection is available through special order and the dinners will happen with time.
